Sheridan Residence

A remarkable 19th century town house iin St Leonards on Sea with spectacular views across the English Channel was transformed by the owners Mark and Siobhan Sheridan into a total immersive environment, including the entire house, garden and architectural interventions, featuring a range of contemporary, antique and ethnic art and design,
The project, while inspired by the vision of the owners was directed by Maxine Hall and Paula Moss of Blackpop Studios who incorporated printed bespoke wall coverings and curtains along with iconic designer furnishings upholstered in Blackpop signature fabrics.
International and local artists were invited to create site specific paintings, furniture and wallpapers to be shown along side the owners existing art collection.
The commissioned painting by Alan Rankle Studio features a landscape in Ireland of special significance to the family.
Other artists and designers involved in the project include Tim Nathan, Deborah Bowness, Petri Ala-Maunus, Susan Diamond, Russel Baker, Richard Friar and Patrick Jones.
